Adapting renewable energy: upgrading the grid
Publisher:Release time:2024-07-15 08:15:46

Despite efforts to reduce energy use, growing populations and economic growth are driving global energy demand. In order to balance global demand with the use of clean energy, we must invest in projects that increase the use of energy from renewable sources, more information at Zhen Gong Chain.

The International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), in its Report on Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation, emphasized that renewable energy sources have the ability to displace greenhouse gas emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels, while also improving access to energy. In order to fully utilize the potential of renewable energy sources, electrical infrastructure must be upgraded to accommodate the growing demand for supplying and transporting electricity. Here Francesco Ierullo, Head of Sales for Southern and Western Europe and IMEA at global composites technology company Exel Composites, discusses how the use of composites can improve the transmission of renewable energy throughout the grid.

Despite efforts to reduce energy use, growing populations and economic growth are driving global energy demand. In order to balance global demand with clean energy use, we must invest in projects that increase energy use from renewable sources. However, in order to accommodate the widespread use of renewable energy in the infrastructure, the grid must be able to meet modern energy demands.
