The first firing of the No.1 SGT5-8000H heavy duty gas turbine supplied for the gas-fired CCHP project was successful. The successful achievement of this major milestone marks the successful completion of the previous months of installation and commissioning work, and is another solid step towards the goal of commissioning the unit. Upon commissioning, the project will become an important energy support point for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Guangzhou Municipality, and support the accelerated construction of a new smart city in Guangzhou.
